“THRM-G-COAT” is a transparent type coating agent,and it blocks UV rays and infrared rays just by applying it on windows.
It blocks infrared rays, which offers an effect to lower the indoor temperature in summer time and retains the indoor heat in wintertime. Blocking the UV rays, which are assumed to be harmful to human bodies, prevents discoloration of commodities in showcases or of interior finishing, and furthermore, lessens insects that fly into the window glass. Furthermore, unlike conventional films, “THRM-G-COAT” has excellent transparency and durability.

Gently wipe the glass surface with a rubber squeegee or a wet soft cloth. (Rubbing with a dry cloth is strictly prohibited.)
・If heavy stains exist, use a neutral detergent. (Do not use ammonia-based, chlorine-based, or organic detergents.)
Do not use brushes or abrasive compounds.
・Brushes, abrasive compounds, sponges containing abrasive compounds, as well as cloth soiled with dust and dirt, etc., may damage the coating layer.
・Do not use compounds, etc., since they scrape the coating film away.
A three-year warranty service is available, which is applicable when the expected effect is not noted after application.
Note, however, that the warranty shall not apply when the coating is damaged with a solid object or cleaned with detergents other than neutral detergent.(Carefully read the Cleaning Precautions.)

What is the expected reduction in air conditioning cost?
The cooling expense in summer can be reduced by about 20%.

What is the change in room temperature?
Change of -2ºC to -4ºC can be expected.
* The change depends on the circumstances since the walls, roof, etc., may affect the temperature.
What is the expected lifetime?
It is seven years to ten years.
THERM-G-COAT has about twice the durability of films with similar performance.
Can condensation be eliminated?
Water droplets will form on the glass surface, but they will not drip.
Conversely, don’t we feel cold in the room in the wintertime?
The coated film is warmed by the heat in the room and will restrict the outside cool temperature from passing through the window. Therefore, the warmed air will not be cooled down, and the air in the room will remain stable and warm.
Why will insects not be attracted?
The UV rays generated in the room (from fluorescent lamps) are also blocked by the glass so that insects that detects UV rays will not be attracted.
Is THERM-G-COAT applicable on any type of glass?
Since the coated film absorbs heat, attention must be paid to glass that originally absorbs or reflects heat. Attention must also be paid to fragile wire-reinforced glass. The person responsible for the application will investigate the job site and determine whether application is possible or not.
How long will the application take?
The application will be completed in two to five hours, which may, however, depend on the circumstances of the application site.
